Invoice generator

Professional invoices in minutes — unlimited and free, no sign-up, no watermark. Everything is computed and rendered in your browser: your clients, prices and totals never touch a server unless you choose to sign in and sync.

What a professional invoice includes

Wherever you invoice, the anatomy is the same: a unique, sequential invoice number (tax authorities expect no gaps — this tool numbers automatically), issue date, both parties’ names and addresses, itemised lines with quantity and unit price, and tax shown as its own line at a stated rate — never silently bundled into prices — so your client can reclaim or report it.

The regional differences are handled by the tax controls: UK and EU businesses show VAT with their VAT registration number; Australian tax invoices show GST (with your ABN, required for sales over A$82.50); Canadian invoices show GST/HST with a Business Number; US invoices typically add state sales tax, with an EIN optional but common on B2B invoices. The “Tax ID” fields on both parties cover all of these, and the tax label is yours to set. If your prices already contain tax, the included in prices mode states the contained amount, as consumer-facing VAT and GST invoicing expects.

This is a document tool, not tax advice — rates, registration thresholds and what you may charge are between you and your accountant.

Why this one is private

Most free invoice sites upload your client list and your prices to their servers, because the tool is bait for their paid product. Here the entire invoice — including the PDF — is produced inside your browser. Invoices autosave to this device; signing in is optional and only adds an encrypted backup you can delete any time from My profile. Your business is nobody else’s data.
